Andrew Pierce met Ashley Hudson in the same church that they attended in Hamburg. The two knew at that point that this was a love union made in heaven. Ashley, who was seventeen at the time, and had never been in previously had a romantic relationship, took her time. The couple were instantly in love. On New Day, right prior to the beginning of 2016, Andrew requested God to grant him one final thing this was to come... to ensure that Ashley could say yes and marry Andrew. Ashley had always wanted the wedding with a folk-inspired wooden theme to symbolize Andrew and her. For the wedding, they combined everything that was important to them. The wedding venue was the 40 acres back of the property Ashley has grown up on. Ashley enjoyed playing and exploring every inch of the property, which included the paths they walked to get there. Andrew and Ashley have also explored in this spot several times since they began dating. The importance of personalization was that almost all of the decorations were made by the groom and bride. Andrew and Ashley's dad created the seating area and the arch for the wedding ceremony. Ashley painted many of the decors. Ashley claims that she would have been disappointed if Anna, the florist at Magnolia Belle Floral had not done her amazing floral work for us, our wedding could have lacked the magical feeling I hoped it would. Truly breathtaking.
